Birth of the Red Kangaroo Movie Review 1969

The program follows the development of the Australian red kangaroo from conception through the first year of life. Unique features of marsupial development are witnessed as the newborn kangaroo makes its journey from birth canal to mother's pouch where it nurses on it's mother's milk for six months.
