Big-budget A&C classic is one of their best efforts and was rewarded handsomely at the boxoffice. Unsuspecting baggage clerks Chick (Abbott) and Wilbur (Costello) deliver a crate containing the last but not quite dead remains of Dracula (Lugosi) and Dr. Frankenstein's monster (Strange) to a wax museum. When Drac revives, he decides to replace the monster's brain with Wilbur's so he'll be easier to control. Chaney Jr. makes a special wolfish appearance to warn the boys that trouble looms. Last film to use the Universal creature pioneered by Karloff in 1931.
