The peripheral processes of the neuron are discussed in this program. Three techniques emphasized are routine aniline dye preparation, Cajal neurofibrillar method, and the osmic acid stain. The components analyzed are nodes of Ranvier, Schwann cells, and the fibroblasts. Part of the "Microanatomy Laboratory Orientation" series.
