A silent computer-generated program displaying a variety of Pyridoxal Phosphate catalyzed reactions. The amino acid serine is shown undergoing decarboxylation, dehydration, racemization, and trans-amination. The emphasis is put on the structural transformations occurring on the carbon alpha of the amino-acid. The reaction mechanisms are depicted at different speeds to dramatize the structural changes and the variety of end products.
