Urban horror invades LA. Lt. Bishop (Stoker) is assigned to oversee the final shutdown of Precinct 13. Nearly abandoned, except for a couple of secretaries and a few officers, the phones and electricity have already been shut off. First problem: a busload of criminals and officers are forced to make a stop to look after a sick prisoner. Second problem: a father, who just witnessed his daughter's murder by a brutal street gang, stumbles in. Then said street gang surrounds the precinct to get the witness. Paranoia abounds as the police are attacked from all sides and can see no way out. Carpenter's musical score adds to the excitement of this low-budget police exploitation story. Semi-acclaimed cult feature and very gripping.
