Black comedy, set in 1900, in which ambitious young Louis (Price) sets out to bump off eight relatives in an effort to claim a family title. Guinness is wonderful in his role as all eight (male and female) of the fated relations. There are a number of clever twists and turns and it proves that writing one's memoirs can be fatal. Very loosely based on Roy Horiman's novel "Israel Rank."
