World Series, 1951 Movie Review 1951

The Giants enter the series coming off their emotional playoff victory over the Dodgers which featured Bobby Thompson's "Shot Heard 'Round the World" in the ninth inning of the final game. They run out of miracles against the Yankees however, as Eddie Lopat and Allie Reynolds lead a solid pitching staff to a six-game victory for the Yankees in Joe DiMaggio's final season and Mickey Mantle's first.
