Young Yankee pitchers Jim Bouton and Mel Stottlemyre are impressive, but Bob Gibson is even better for the Cardinals. A grand slam home run by Ken Boyer is the big hit in the 64 series, won by the Cardinals four games to three. The great Mickey Mantle, in what is to be his last World Series, adds to his record status for the October Classic.
