World Series, 1967 Movie Review 1967

The Red Sox, ninth place finishers the previous year, are led to the series by Carl Yastrzemski, Tony Conigliaro, and Ken Harrelson. Boston ace Jim Lonborg flirts with a no-hitter in one game, but the St. Louis bats finally quell the Sox in seven games, led by Lou Brock, Orlando Cepeda, and Tim McCarver, and the pitching of Bob Gibson.
