World Series, 1978 Movie Review 1978

The Yankees beat the Dodgers in six games for the second year in a row. Yankee shortstop Bucky Dent wins the series MVP award while Graig Nettles, Reggie Jackson, Thurman Munson, and rookie Brian Doyle lead the champs at bat and on the field. Ron Cey and Davey Lopes excel for the Dodgers. The victory caps a memorable season for New York, one in which they came from 14 games out of first place in July to eventually win a one-game playoff with the Boston Red Sox for the American League East Championship.
