Afternoons and Alice McClure Movie Review 1974

A sensitive portrayal of the bittersweet world of a fatherless adolescent girl who must learn to cope with reality. Alice spends her afternoons in an abandoned house, until she meets a vagrant and tragedy results. Also available in a fantasy version without the tragic ending.
