Presents the 32-episode first season of the 1960s family classic TV show with Andy Griffith as big-hearted, down-to-Earth town sheriff Andy Taylor, who's left to care (along with spinster Aunt Bee, played by Frances Bavier) for son Opie (Ron Howard) after his wife dies. Set in (made-up) small-town Mayberry, North Carolina. Don Knotts also stars as Andy's cousin and quirky deputy sheriff Barney Fife.
