John Livien (Behr), named after John Lennon, is a self-destructive rock singer who is about to blow his band's big chance at success with his behavior, which endears him to no one but groupie Emi (Wynter). As Livien becomes increasingly unstable, he connects ever more dangerously with Lennon's life--and death.
