Twin brothers Teshawn (Greene) and Wesley (Sills-Evans) Tucker have been estranged since the death of their parents. Te is the gangsta hip hop star Zulu while Wes is a minister at a Harlem church. When Te gets into big trouble with his LA record producer Bull Sharkey (Akinnoyye-Agbaje), he flees to Harlem to hide out and he and Wes try to reconcile their differences, especially when Te offers to whip the church's raggedy gospel choir into shape in time for a competition.
