Lepage directed, wrote (an adaptation of his play), and stars as Quebec brothers Philippe and Andre. Philippe is a failed doctoral student obsessed with space, while gay younger brother Andre is a vacuous TV weatherman. They are brought into each other's orbit by the death of their mother, although Philippe has apparently never quite reached adulthood anyway. Alienation--rather than aliens--rule. French with subtitles.
