Three Times Movie Review 2005

A trio of linked stories (about romantic longing) set in three time periods with Qi Shu and Chen Chang playing the leads. "A Time for Love" (1966) has a young soldier romancing a pool-hall hostess. "A Time for Freedom" (1911) is a silent drama with a courtesan in a brothel hoping a client will purchase her freedom. "A Time for Youth" (2005) finds a bisexual singer in Taipei drifting into an affair with a photographer. Mandarin and Taiwanese with subtitles.
