La Moustache Movie Review 2005

Carree adapts and directs his 1986 novel in which architect Marc (Lindon) decides to shave off the moustache he's had most of his life. He's taken aback when his wife Agnes (Devos) doesn't notice. Nor does anyone else. Marc first thinks it's an elaborate practical joke but then suspects everyone of more sinister motives. His marriage unravels as, perhaps, does Marc's sanity. French with subtitles.
