One Last Thing Movie Review 2005

Dylan (Angarano) is 16 and dying from brain cancer. When a charity chooses to grant his final wish, he decides that rather than spending time with his football hero Jason O'Malley (Messner), he wants to meet supermodel Nikki Sinclair (Mabrey). Well, duh. Self-destructive Nikki needs the good publicity but bails as quickly as possible. Still, Jason offers Dylan and his buddies Ricky (Bush) and Slap (Glick) a luxury weekend in New York during which Nikki is given a chance to redeem herself. Ping-pongs between sentiment and reality. Ethan Hawke appears uncredited in flashbacks as Dylan's dead father.
