Hate Crime Movie Review 2005

Overwrought melodrama. Robbie (Peterson) and Trey (Smith) are a contented gay couple whose new neighbor, Chris (Donella), is the homophobic son of a fundamentalist pastor (Davison). Naturally, the neighbors soon clash. When Trey is beaten to death at a local park, Robbie is sure who's guilty, but the cops aren't.
