Slings & Arrows: Season One Movie Review 2003

Onetime actor Geoffrey Tennant (Gross) famously had a breakdown during a performance of "Hamlet" at the New Burbage Shakespeare festival. Years later, Geoffrey reluctantly returns to take over as artistic director after his mentor, Oliver Welles (Ouimette), suddenly dies. But problems abound, including the fact that "Hamlet" is once again on the schedule and a ghostly Oliver appears to give Geoffrey unwanted advice. Humorous behind-the-scenes look at theatrical life.
