The Blue Butterfly Movie Review 2004

Based on a true story. Pete Carlton (Donato) is 10 and dying. His one wish is to capture the rare blue morpho butterfly. World-weary entomologist Alan Osborne (Hurt) is persuaded by Pete's mother, Teresa (Bussieres), to let them accompany his expedition into the rain forest of Costa Rica. Beautiful scenery but an overly-sappy saga.
