The Shaggy Dog Movie Review 2006

Allen goes from man to dogman after being bitten by a 300-year-old Tibetan collie with magical DNA in this remake of Disney's 1959 live-action blockbuster. Allen plays a district attorney and full-time dad now prone to loads of anthropomorphic shtick--barking, lifting his leg to pee, chasing cats, and, of course, sniffing rear-ends. Often comes across more creepy than goofy. Downey succeeds as the prototypical mad scientist villain. Strictly for the kiddies.
