Cowboy Del Amor Movie Review 2005

Despite his own lack of marital bliss, gruff cowboy Ivan Thompson has turned his lasso to catching Mexican wives for lonely American men who have grown tired of so-called yappy American women--to the tune of $3,000. Director Ohayon's lively documentary follows the retired cowboy as he tends to his "woman business" and feminists bemoan him; in fact many of the Mexican women are well-educated with their own agenda--to find a better life in the States.
