Sarah (writer/director Argento) is the worst kind of trailer trash--an alcoholic druggie who doesn't say no to any scum's sexual advances--yet social services returns her 7-year-old boy Jeremiah to her, taking him from stable foster parents. After corrupting him with her lifestyle, she dumps him on her very religious parents for three years, but just as the damage is undone, skanky Sarah returns and takes him on the road for more misery. Based on a supposed autobiographical novel by J.T. LeRoy that was later outed as a ruse created by writer Laura Albert.
