Mockumentary ponders the history of the past 150 years had the Confederacy won the Civil War and slavery endured. Told via a faux British public network Ken Burns-type series and presented by Spike Lee. Purposely unsettling, with images like a black-faced Lincoln in hiding as Harriet Tubman helps him to escape to Canada, the picky attention to historical details falls short by presuming such modern events as JFK's presidency and assassination, and the Vietnam War would have really took place in such a world.
