The Reaping Movie Review 2006

Former Christian missionary Katherine Winter (Swank) lost her faith when her family was killed. Now a theology professor, Katherine also is a debunker of religious phenomena. But when she investigates a Louisiana town that's apparently suffering from the 10 plagues of Exodus, she realizes that science can't explain what's happening. In order to help, Katherine must regain her faith and use it to defeat the dark forces surrounding the community. Filmed in St. Francisville, Louisiana; the shoot was delayed when it was evacuated because of hurricane Katrina. Not yet reviewed.
