Dan Brown's controversial mega-bestseller hits the big screen with Howard and Hanks reuniting for their first feature since "Apollo 13." The murder of a Louvre curator leads to a conspiracy and a secret that has been protected by the Catholic Church since its beginnings. Cryptologist Sophie Neveu (Tautou) and Harvard symbiologist Robert Langdon (Hanks) team up to puzzle out the clues that are hidden in the works of Leonardo Da Vinci. Naturally, there are those (including Bettany's albino monk, Silas) who will protect the secret from being revealed at any cost. This one is a given for boffo boxoffice if just the book's readers are curious to see how the flick compares. Not yet reviewed.
