Story of a Love Affair Movie Review 1950

Paola (Bose) is the young wife of wealthy industrialist Enrico (Sarmi), who swiftly married her during the war. Now curious about her unknown past, Enrico hires a detective (Rossi) to investigate. This results in reuniting Paola with her ex-lover Guido (Girotti). Both are afraid that questions will be raised about the suspicious death of Guido's fiancee and, as the two rekindle their involvement, they consider getting rid of Enrico to preserve their secrets. Antonioni's first dramatic feature; Italian with subtitles.
