When he was only 8 years old, Steve (Goodman) promised his sweetheart Lisa that in forty years they would meet again at their dance school's class reunion. Now here we are, forty years later, trying to believe that this is all going down and that Steve is still passionately fixated on this historic moment. Not buying it. Everything goes wrong and Steve wonders if he'll ever get to see his long-lost love again. Silly side-tracking story that takes itself too seriously, gushing its own bittersweet sentiment all over the place. Somehow snagged an incredible cast. Based on the director's own short film made 15 years earlier.
