Slime and disfiguration abound after a meteorite crashes to Earth, allowing a nasty little alien hitchhiker to burrow into the chest of a prominent businessman. From there, things get ugly. Literally. Picture the Elephant Man covered in snot, hungry for flesh, and stripped of his dashing good looks. Done with style, intelligence, and tongue firmly in cheek, it makes for a good ol' fashioned popcorn n' mutations kind of flick. Tremendous props for ditching CGI and utilizing old-school make-up effects. These creatures pulsate and drip and shock better than any MPEG file.
