Information and Film Reviews for Lonesome Jim the Movie

Visitor rating
4.0 from 0 reviews

Jim (Affleck) is an aimless, melancholic 27-year-old returning to his dull hometown in Indiana after a spirit-crushing stint in New York. Low-key, with mildly eccentric characters, it paints a nice little picture of Midwestern alienation, soaked with dry humor. Buscemi is subtle and meticulous with his direction, working in familiar territory.
