Selene and Michael are still on the run and still trying to figure out the depths of the various and betrayals and who, if anyone, they can trust. This time out they have to deal with the O.G. vampire and werewolf, and there are a few family issues to work out. There's also plenty of backstory, and more of what made the first installment a hit: Beckinsale in black leather, frenetic vampire-on-werewolf battle action, blood, and gunplay. As a bonus, there's a much better villain and script that brings everything home (but don't rule out another sequel).
