Frenetic actioner has small-time hood Joe (Walker) charged with disposing of a gun for his Mob cronies after a drug deal gone bad. The reason it went bad is that some crooked cops crashed the party and a few of them ended up dead. When a neighbor kid takes the gun and uses it to shoot his Russian mob-affiliated, abusive stepdad, things go sideways for everyone in a big hurry. Joe must race the clock, the cops, his associates, and the Russians to find the kid and the gun, both of which change hands with astonishing regularity over the course of the night. What this one lacks in cohesion and plausibility, it makes up for in pacing (which rarely slackens) and urgency.
