Rising Up: The Alams Movie Review 2005

The Alams face the harsh reality that their family is being forced into separation. As part of the Homeland security measures, immigrant men from 25 mostly Muslim countries were required to enroll in a Special Registration program. No terrorist activity was found, but now more than 13,000 people are being deported, mostly for expired visas.
