Angel of Death Movie Review 2002

Detective Maria Delgado (Sorvino) comes to Seville during Holly Week to investigate a series of ritual killings. With cops Quemada (Martinez) and Torillo (Atkine) assisting, Maria discovers a mysterious religious order, The Brotherhood of Christ, and an old woman (Valli) keeping a secret since the Spanish Civil War. Lackluster, miscast thriller adapted from the novel by David Hewson.
