Remake of the 1980s film of the same name, this foggy feature is updated by utterly ludicrous special effects. It does, however, stay true to the original film's roots, where a misty fog overtakes the sleepy (and fictional) town of Antonio Bay, bringing in the ghosts of some seafarers murdered 100 years ago. Of course, the ghosts are ticked off and they exact revenge on the poor townsfolk. The original was at least scarier, and even better-acted, which isn't saying a whole lot.
