Daltry Calhoun Movie Review 2005

Debut feature from Bronson stars Knoxville as the slick sod salesman of the title. Daltry hightailed it out of Ducktown, Tennessee, leaving behind his teenaged girlfriend and baby daughter. Fourteen years later, May (Banks) is dying of some mystery illness and needs Daltry to take responsibility for June (Traub). There are quirky townsfolk and quirky situations and quirky, annoying narration from June. And an intrusive soundtrack.
