Bedelia Movie Review 1946

Lockwood well-plays a black widow. Bedelia is living happily in Monte Carlo with hubby Charlie (Hunter) until Ben Chaney (Barnes) shows up. Posing as an artist--but really a private eye--Ben has questions about Bedelia's past. Seems she poisoned three previous husbands for the insurance money and Charlie is a good bet to be her next victim. Based on the novel by Vera Caspary.
