Romantic melodrama. Orphaned Mazie (Parker) is mistreated by farmer Slag (Byron) and his wife (Bondi). When reform school runaway Adam (Brown) shows up, he suffers similar abuse but does have Mazie's love. The lovebirds are rescued from despair by farmhand Marshall (Robertson) who has a secret of his own. Adapted from the play "Wild Birds" by Dan Totheroh.
