Tired of life as a gambling boss, Ace Corbin (Grant) decides to retire and assumes a new identity as a businessman on a cross-country train trip. He meets Eleanor (Hume), who's pretending to be a socialite but is really the mistress of Joe (Vinton), who owns a failing gambling ship. Ace winds up buying the venture to settle a score with rival Pete (LaRue) but Pete doesn't take kindly to his new competition.
