Condemned Movie Review 1929

Colman's second talkie finds his character, Michel, sent to Devil's Island for theft. Michel makes life easier for himself by getting into the warden's (Diggs) good graces and into the heart of the warden's unhappy wife (Harding). Adapted from the novel "Condemned to Devil's Island" by Blair Niles.
