Harry, an embittered farmer (Meany) declares war on the most powerful man in town, who happens to be the town matchmaker. In order to marry off his dim but handsome son, Harry finds himself again indebted to his nemesis, which only fuels his anger and proves he is his own worst enemy. Engaging Irish drama with a dark comedic edge.
