Family-friendly heart-warmer about a girl and her race horse. Ben Crane (Russell) has a failing Kentucky horse farm, so he's working as a trainer for stable owner Palmer (Morse). The stable's most promising filly Sonador ("Dreamer") breaks a leg during a race and is supposed to be put down, but Ben's plucky daughter Cale (Fanning) insists the horse is a keeper. So Ben quits his job, takes the filly as severance pay, and decides to not only nurse the horse back to health, but get her racing again. Well-matched cast with some especially good moments between Russell and Fanning.
