Island in the Sky Movie Review 1953

When a transport plane crashes in an isolated area of Labrador, the captain (Wayne) must keep his crew alive long enough for them to be rescued. Long-awaited release has all the rugged manliness you'd expect of a Wayne flick. Faithful adaptation successfully conveys the increasing desperation and sense of doom of the crew and the would-be rescuers.
