Into the Blue Movie Review 2005

Sam (Alba) works for an entertainment venture, bobbing about in a bikini and feeding sharks all day. Jared (Walker) has a similar affinity to water, earning his keep as a scuba instructor. Together they hunt for buried treasure, instead finding a cocaine stash buried at the bottom of the ocean in a crashed plane. Of course, the drug dealers aren't too happy to have them sniffing around the goods. Amazingly, there is a bit of a plot behind what first appears to be a video swimsuit catalog. Sure, attractive young people in bathing suits are the focus, but flick surprises with a decent dose of adventure, action, suspense, and some interesting underwater scenes.
