Sappy Christmas story set in the Depression. 12-year-old Emma O'Connor (Green) is sent to live with her aunt in a small town and finds out that dogs are newly banned in the community (grrrrr). So it's up to Emma, a large number of pooches, and a school holiday pageant to make everything right. Cute dogs, cute kid--probably tolerable for the younger set. Based on the book by Emma Kragen.
