Matt Buckner (Wood) is expelled from Harvard weeks before graduating when he's forced to take the fall for his wealthy roommate after cocaine is found in their room. He accepts $10,000 in hush money and takes off for London to visit his sister Shannon (Forlani) and brother-in-law Steve (Warren). Steve's younger brother Pete (Hunnam) takes Matt to a West Ham football match, where he's introduced to the violent world of the Green Street Elite, the gang of rabid fans committed to supporting the West Ham football club through bloody street warfare with supporters of opposing teams. Yank's eye view of the gritty nature of soccer hooliganism will leave you both fascinated and repelled.
