Winterbottom's sexually explicit flick depicts the relationship between British glaciologist Matt (O'Brien), who's got some time during an Antarctica expedition to recall his sexy affair with a headstrong, possibly nuts, American named Lisa (Stilley), whom he met at a rock concert. The pattern is go to a concert, then go to Matt's house and have sex; after the nine songs have concluded, Lisa goes back to the States and Matt goes to a glacier. It's like porn with artistic pretensions.
