In Berlin, three twentysomething political idealists, dogmatic and naive, commit various property pranks on the bourgeoisie. Roomies Jan (Bruehl) and Peter (Erceg) and Peter's girlfriend Julie (Jentsche) (who likes Jan, too) happily vandalize until ineptly graduating to kidnapping when businessman Hardenberg (Klaussner) comes home early and interrupts them. Clueless, the trio decide to hide out with their captive (who turns out to be a former 60s radical) at a mountain cabin. Much generational talk and romantic tension ensues. German with subtitles.
