The World Movie Review 2004

Beijing's World Park is a theme park featuring small reproductions of international landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Taj Mahal. We get a behind the scenes look at the lives of some of the park's young workers, many of whom have moved from small villages to the big city to make new lives. These include dancer Tao (Zhao) and her security guard boyfriend, Taisheng (Chen), who are caught up in the dead-end artifice surrounding them. Mandarin and Shanxi dialect with subtitles.
